πΆ Ministry Role: Worship Leader (Resource Person)
π Primarily part of the CORE System; supports REACH and LEAD Systems when needed
π§ Ministry Focus:
A Worship Leader serves as a Resource Person by using their musical and spiritual gifting to lead people into meaningful worship during Church-wide events, Community gatherings, and Classes. The Worship Leader discerns an appropriate worship theme based on the purpose of the event or the message being delivered, and develops a line-up of songs that aligns with it. This person works collaboratively with the worship team and coordinates as needed with the Events Team and other ministry leaders.

Pre-Qualifications
- Demonstrates a vibrant personal relationship with God and a heart for worship
- Musically gifted and spiritually discerning, with prior experience in leading worship
- Able to create worship themes and song line-ups that match the eventβs purpose
- Collaborative and respectful when working with singers, musicians, and leaders
- Willing to grow through feedback, spiritual maturity, and team mentorship
π§βπ« Coaching Support
Each Worship Leader will be paired with a Coach who will guide them through the training projects. The Coach will help the Worship Leader reflect on theme discernment, team collaboration, and worship leadership. Coaching may include one-on-one conversations, set list reviews, or event debriefs. The goal is to help the Worship Leader grow in both spiritual sensitivity and technical leadership.

- Pray and reflect on a worship theme that fits the spiritual tone of the event
- Write a brief description of the theme and key Scriptures behind it
- Share your theme with a mentor or the speaker/leader for feedback

Goal: Develop a worship set that flows with the theme and engages participants.

- Practice transitions and song flow with vocalists and musicians
- Submit the final line-up to the Events Team and Technical Team

Goal: Collaborate with singers and musicians to prepare for the event.
