🧭 Ministry Focus: A Prayer Warrior supports RLCC’s mission through faithful and Spirit-led intercession. Whether praying regularly, occasionally upon request, or by attending scheduled prayer gatherings, Prayer Warriors lift up the church, its people, and its mission to God. They are entrusted with sensitive prayer concerns and are expected to respond promptly and reverently to email notifications and prayer alerts.
Pre-Qualifications
  • Has a personal relationship with God and a consistent prayer life
  • Understands the importance and power of intercession in ministry
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling prayer concerns
  • Willing to receive and respond to prayer requests via email or message
  • Committed to grow in prayer and spiritual discernment
🧭 Training Projects for Prayer Warriors
(To be completed with a mentor or prayer coordinator, as needed)
📘 Project 1: Embrace the Call to Intercede

Goal: Understand the biblical foundation and responsibility of intercession.

Activities:
  • Read Ezekiel 22:30, James 5:16, and Philippians 4:6
  • Watch or attend a short teaching on the ministry of intercession
  • Reflect on your personal calling to pray and share it with a mentor or prayer partner
  • Pray for RLCC’s mission, leaders, and ministries during your quiet time
📘 Project 2: Commit to a Prayer Rhythm

Goal: Establish your preferred method and frequency of serving as a Prayer Warrior.

Activities:
  • Decide whether you’ll serve regularly, occasionally, or at scheduled gatherings
  • Sign up to receive prayer requests through email or message
  • Create a simple rhythm of when and how you will pray (daily, weekly, upon notification)
  • Notify your mentor or prayer coordinator of your chosen rhythm
📘 Project 3: Respond to Prayer Requests

Goal: Engage in prayer support through RLCC’s official prayer channels.

Activities:
  • Receive a prayer email or request and pray for the concern within 24–48 hours
  • Confirm (when requested) that you've lifted the matter in prayer
  • Keep the request confidential and spiritually covered
  • Journal any impressions or scriptures during your intercession (optional)
📘 Project 4: Attend a Prayer Gathering

Goal: Participate in corporate prayer for RLCC’s people and mission.

Activities:
  • Attend a scheduled RLCC Prayer Gathering (online or in-person)
  • Actively join in group prayer, worship, or intercession segments
  • Pray out loud when comfortable, or agree silently with others’ prayers
  • Reflect on your experience afterward in a short note or journal

  • 🙌 Present Requests to God – Intercede for the church’s needs, events, and leaders
  • 📧 Respond to Prayer Alerts – Lift up concerns sent through email or other channels
  • 🕊️ Attend as You’re Able – Join prayer gatherings when available and invited
  • 🫶 Yield to the Spirit – Be sensitive to God’s leading as you pray privately or in groups
🔄 Accountability & Support
  • Serve under a Prayer Coordinator, Ministry Leader, or System Overseer
  • Receive prayer requests and updates via email or approved channels
  • Stay connected through optional huddles or reflection check-ins
📈 Basis of Encouragement & Evaluation
  • Faithful in Prayer – Prays consistently and sincerely for RLCC’s needs
  • Responsive to Requests – Acknowledges and intercedes promptly when alerted
  • Respectful and Discreet – Handles all prayer concerns with care and confidentiality
  • Engaged in the Spirit’s Work – Prays with discernment, love, and spiritual depth
