🎯 Ministry Focus: Helping Members Discover and Step into Their Ministry Calling
✅ Pre-Qualifications
- Has a heart for encouraging others to serve
- Relational, observant, and enthusiastic about church life
- Active in a Life Group or ministry in RLCC
- Endorsed by a mentor, Life Group leader, or Mobilization Coordinator
- Uses email regularly for communication
🧠 Training Projects (to be completed within 2 months or more)
👥 Project 1: Ministry Match Conversations
Goal: Help others identify where they can serve.
Activities:
- Talk with at least 3 members about their gifts and interests.
- Recommend a suitable ministry based on the iSERVE approach.
- Share your process in the CORE Team Huddle.
📣 Project 2: Share Your Serving Story
Goal: Use your testimony to inspire others.
Activities:
- Write or outline your own serving story.
- Share it live with a small group or individual.
- Reflect on their response in the CORE Team Huddle.
💬 Project 3: Respond to Hesitations
Goal: Help someone overcome doubts about serving.
Activities:
- Have a conversation with someone hesitant to serve.
- Listen well and offer encouragement and answers.
- Share how it went in the CORE Team Huddle.
🤝 Project 4: Connect to Ministry Teams
Goal: Place people in the right ministry.
Activities:
- Help at least 2 members get started in a ministry team.
- Follow up to ensure a good fit.
- Report back in the CORE Team Huddle.
📌 Ongoing Responsibilities: MOBILIZE – Encouraging Members to Use Their Gifts
- 🧍 Meet People Where They Are - Build genuine relationships with those not yet serving.
- 👀 Observe Their Gifts and Passions - Discern what each person is uniquely gifted to do.
- 🌉 Bridge to Ministry Opportunities - Help them take the next step into a specific role.
- 📣 Invite and Encourage - Personally invite them and cheer them on in the process.
- 🙌 Follow Up and Support - Check in, offer help, and celebrate their progress.
🔄 Accountability & Support
- Serve under the CORE System Coordinator
- Attend CORE Team Huddles for training, feedback, and encouragement
- Collaborate with ministry leaders to place and support volunteers
📈 Basis of Evaluation for Continued Service
- Engages People Relationally - Builds real connections that open doors for ministry conversations.
- Identifies and Affirms Gifts - Helps others discover their potential and value.
- Places Members Purposefully -Connects people to ministries that match their design.
- Follows Up with Encouragement -Checks in after placement and supports volunteers as they grow.
- Promotes a Serving Culture - Inspires others through action and example to serve faithfully.
