🔥 Ministry Focus: A Light Bearer regularly makes contacts with new people in order to establish connections with them.

✅ Pre-Qualifications
  • A growing relationship with Jesus and a heart for the lost
  • Confidence in building relationships with unchurched or spiritually curious people
  • Willingness to initiate conversations and take action
  • Endorsed by a mentor, Life Group leader, or REACH Coordinator
  • Uses email regularly for communication
🧭 Training Projects (to be completed within 1 month)

A Mobilizer will help you fulfill these projects.
💡 Project 1: Generate New Contacts & Create a H.I.T. List
Goal: Reach out to 10 people and identify at least 2 seekers.
Activities:
  • Connect with 10 new or unchurched people (online or in person).
  • Identify at least 2 who are Seekers.
  • Write their names in your H.I.T. List.
  • Share your list and experience in the REACH Team Huddle.
❤️ Project 2: Offer God’s Love
Goal: Build trust with 2 seekers through genuine care.
Activities:
  • Visit or spend time with at least 2 seekers from your H.I.T. List.
  • Show kindness (e.g., listen, encourage, pray, serve).
  • Get or update their contact info for follow-up.
  • Share your experience in the REACH Team Huddle.
Note: These projects are done with the support of a REACH Team Huddle, where you’ll receive encouragement, guidance, and accountability.

📌 Ongoing Responsibilities: G.O. – A Lifestyle of Evangelistic Presence
  • 🚶 G — Generate and Grow Relationships with the Unreached - Build new connections intentionally—neighbors, coworkers, classmates, or online contacts. Keep and pray over a personal H.I.T. List of seekers.
  • ❤️ O — Offer God's Love in Word and Deed - Practice loving, Spirit-led engagement with those who may be open to faith. Look for opportunities to serve, listen, and show genuine concern.
🔄 Accountability & Support
  •  Serve under the REACH System Coordinator
  •  Attend REACH Team Huddles monthly for feedback, growth, and celebration
  •  Collaborate with other REACH Team workers and leaders for continuity of care

  • Engages Relationally with Seekers - Intentionally connects with new people and cultivates meaningful conversations.

  • Initiates Gospel Opportunities - Creates moments for spiritual dialogue without coercion or pressure.
  • Builds a Culture of Outreach - Encourages others by example to live with missional purpose.
