Start a Simple Church
A Simple Church is a small gathering of families who meet regularly in their homes (or any other place) to follow Jesus together as part of RLCC. Usually, a Simple Church is for those who cannot attend RLCC in person or onsite. It is not about programs, buildings, or complicated activities. Instead, it is about focusing on what truly matters: the presence of Jesus, God’s Word, prayer, fellowship, and mission. In other words, it's simple.
In the Book of Acts, we see how the first Christians met in their homes, ate together with glad hearts, prayed for one another, and lived on mission in their communities (Acts 2:42–47). Their faith was simple, but it was also powerful and life-giving. We believe God is calling us to rediscover this same simplicity today.
Why Simple Church?
Life is often busy and complicated. But Jesus said, “Where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:20). That means we don’t need a big crowd or an elaborate setup for church to happen. All we need is Jesus at the center, families gathering in His name, and a willingness to walk together in faith and serve the Lord together.
How Does It Work?
A Simple Church must start from a Timothy Accountability Group or TAG. A TAG is composed of two (or three people) of the same gender, who study the word of God together, hold each other accountable in obeying it, and work together to add a fourth member using the MP4 Strategy. Once a fourth member is added, a new TAG will be formed composed of two members each, i.e., an Equipper and a Disciple. This is called the Alpha and Beta stages of a Timothy Accountability Gorup or TAG.
Each TAG will go through the following basic courses:
Each TAG will go through the following basic courses:
- Real Life Bible Study
- Vision Seminar
- Real Life Journey
- MP4 Strategy
After MP4, and if they have not yet multplied, they can now continue studying specific courses according to their leadership level.
Once there are two (or three) TAGs in the same area, and if the members cannot attend RLCC in person or onsite, then they can now form a Simple Church.

A new Simple Church must go through this 9-session journey together.
- Sessions 1–8 will help you learn and commit to the Eight Commitments of a Simple Church.
- Session 9 will introduce you to the simple rhythm of meeting together: Eat, Share, Pray.
After these sessions, your Simple Church will continue to meet regularly, following this rhythm of Eat, Share, Pray. Over time, you will grow closer to God, closer to one another, and more effective in serving your neighbors and community.
Once your Simple Church grows to 15 to 20 members, it is time to form a new Simple Church of about 8 to 10 members each. Remember, each Simple Church must have at its core at least two (or three) TAGs each.

What to Expect
- Simplicity – Don’t worry about being perfect or polished. Just focus on Jesus and each other.
- Participation – Everyone has something to contribute. Church is not a performance; it’s a family gathering.
- Growth – God will use these times to shape you, strengthen you, and send you into His mission.
Our Hope for You
Our prayer is that through Simple Church, you will experience the love of God in fresh ways, grow in your faith, and see your family and community transformed by the presence of Jesus.
Let’s begin this journey together.
