💖 Welcome to Serving Together at RLCC!
You’re not just joining a ministry—you’re joining a movement to love God and serve people in practical, Spirit-filled ways. A Task Group is a team of people doing ministry together, guided by purpose, empowered by God, and united in heart.
We believe that every follower of Christ is called to serve, not just in the church building, but in every area of life. This track will help you discover your God-given shape for ministry and how to work with others to fulfill God’s mission through RLCC.
Over about 6 months, you’ll complete a set of Training Projects designed to equip you for ministry. These are done within your Task Group, guided by your leader, and paced according to your readiness.

Note: You will do these Training Projects before you actually begin your specific training for the ministry that you have chosen.

🔹 TRAINING PROJECTS
Project 1: Learn about RLCC
Goal: Understand the mission, values, and motivations that drive our church.
What You’ll Do:
  • Join an RLCC Vision Seminar (or watch the teaching online).
  • Reflect on RLCC’s mission: “Helping people experience real life in Christ.”
  • Discuss in the group: What excites you about this mission? What part might God want you to play?
  • Write a short “Why I want to serve in RLCC” statement.
Project 2: Discover Your Design
Goal: Explore how God uniquely shaped you for meaningful ministry.
What You’ll Do:
  • Complete these two processes: "I am SPECIAL" and "iSERVE" to know your service calling.
  • Reflect on your season in life—what are your current capacities?
  • Choose a specific area or role to try out.
Project 3: Practice Teamwork in Ministry
Goal: Learn how to serve God faithfully and fruitfully with others.
What You’ll Do:
  • Serve with your Task Group in at least one ministry project or event.
  • Practice team values: humility, initiative, follow-through, and mutual support.
  • Give and receive positive feedback after your ministry experience.
  • Discuss: What did you learn? What was challenging? How did you grow?

🤝 ROLE OF THE TASK GROUP LEADER
Your group leader or team head will guide you through each project. Their role is to:
  • Clarify expectations and walk with you step by step.
  • Encourage you and help you discover your unique role.
  • Offer real-time feedback and mentoring.
  • Celebrate your growth and contributions.

🕰️ Suggested Timeline (Flexible!)
  • Month 1–2: Project 1 (RLCC Mission & Vision)
  • Month 3–4: Project 2 (Discover your Design)
  • Month 5–6: Project 3 (Teamwork & Service)
But remember: It’s about faithfulness, not speed.

  • You’ll gain clarity and confidence in your service calling.
  • You’ll be affirmed as an RLCC ministry worker.
  • Your group will celebrate your growth in ministry.
  • You’ll be invited to deepen your service or pursue specific training for the role that you have chosen.
