Start a Community
Start a Community
A Community is a medium-sized group of 15 to 20 people who come together in RLCC based on their affinity—whether by age, gender, stage of life, or shared interest or according to their location (which must be near a Center). Examples include Young students, Young Professionals, Young Couples, Adult Women, Adult Men, Seniors.
Unlike a Simple Church (which gathers as families in homes or in other places far from RLCC), a Community usually gathers in person or onsite in RLCC once a month for:
- Food – eating and enjoying meals together.
- Fellowship – building meaningful friendships.
- Fun – laughing, playing, and celebrating life together.
- Faith – growing in Christ through sharing, encouragement, and prayer.
Why Communities?
We believe that everyone needs a place to belong. While Sunday worship is a time for the whole church to gather corporately, Communities provide a more personal space where you can meet people like you—those who share similar life stages, struggles, and joys.
Communities are also a great next step for those who attend our Sunday services to become more involved in RLCC. Here, new friendships are formed, faith grows deeper, and people begin to experience what it means to be part of a spiritual family.
How does it work
A Community must start from a Timothy Accountability Group or TAG. A TAG is composed of two (or three people) of the same gender, who study the word of God together, hold each other accountable in obeying it, and work together to add a fourth member using the MP4 Strategy. Once a fourth member is added, a new TAG will be formed composed of two members each, i.e., an Equipper and a Disciple. This is called the Alpha and Beta stages of a Timothy Accountability Gorup or TAG.
Each TAG will go through the following basic courses:

- Real Life Bible Study
- Vision Seminar
- Real Life Journey

After MP4, and if they have not yet multplied, they can now continue studying specific courses according to their leadership level.
Once there are two (or three) TAGs of the same affinity, life situation, location, etc., they can now form a new Community.

The Journey
As a new Community, you need to go through a 9-session journey together.
- Sessions 1–8 – Learn and commit to the Eight Commitments of an RLCC Community.
- Session 9 – Discover the ongoing rhythm of Community gatherings: Food, Fellowship, Fun, and Faith.
After completing this journey, your Community will continue meeting regularly, following this rhythm of Community gatherings. Over time, you will experience deeper friendships, stronger faith, and greater joy in belonging to Christ’s family.
Once your Community has grown to 15 to 20 members, it is time to form a new Community of about 7 to 10 members each. Remember, each Community must have at its core at least two (or three) TAGs each.

- Grow spiritually as part of Real Life Christian Communities.
- Experience the joy of eating, laughing, sharing, and praying with others.
Together, let’s build Communities where everyone belongs and everyone grows.
